Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center will open the Orange Coast Patient Care Pavilion. This modern outpatient services building will allow us continue to deliver high-quality care, especially to our heart care patients, all in one beautiful and convenient location. Orange Coast Memorial will soon become one of the first hospitals in the nation to introduce a hybrid interventional cardiac suite. This revolutionary new facility is one of only a handful in the country and is a state-of-the-art operating room and cardiac catheterization lab combined. The new hybrid interventional cardiac suite is designed for open-heart surgeries such as cardiac bypass, as well as catheter-based procedures like angioplasty. This new facility also allows cardiac surgeons to perform diagnostic testing during and at the end of surgery. Opening in November, 2009

The ideal candidate will have a predisposition to our core values including:
-Willing to use own vehicle to travel to/from both facilities as needed
-Valid CA Driver’s License
-Auto Insurance
-Current California RN license
-Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Surgery nursing practice as a circulator
-Maintains clinical competencies in Cardiac Surgery nursing
-Basic Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications
-Scrub skills
-Availability to take on-call assignments
