About Us

Long Beach Memorial Medical Center (LBMMC) and Miller Children’s Hospital (MCH) currently have three distinct surgical service areas: Long Beach Memorial Medical Center: Inpatient/Outpatient Surgery, the MemorialCare Center for Women Surgical Center and Memorial Heart and Vascular Institute. LBMMC has 23 general surgery operating rooms, the MemorialCare Center for Women has nine operating rooms, and the Memorial Heart and Vascular Institute has three rooms specially equipped for cardiovascular surgery, including minimally invasive surgical procedures with the latest generation of robotic computer technology, called the da Vinci S Surgical System.

About the Opportunity

Under the supervision of an RN, the Surgery Technician II scrubs for surgical procedures in the Operating Room as assigned. Provides safe, cost-effective patient care throughout the pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative periods to the Operating Room, according to established LBMMC standards.

2 years of experience as a Surgical Technician in the Operating Room is required . A current American Heart Association Basic Life Support ( BLS) certification is also required. Apply Now
