Assists in the coordination of all clinical research activities in the Women's Perinatal department, including the following job duties: identifies potential study candidates, enrolling, protocol management, data collection and data entry. Assists in developing protocols, recruiting patients, obtaining consents, collecting and inputing data. A current RN license is required. A current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required. 5 years of experience in high risk Obstetrics is also required.
The following education/licensure/certifications are also required:
Bachelor's of Science in progress
ADN
NCC - In Patient Obstetrics - Certification
Amniotic Fluid Index - Certification
Must meet the following minimum requirements:
Basic fetal heart rate monitoring knowledge
Minimum of 5 years experience in coordinating perinatal clinical research
Knowledge in development research protocols
Knowledge in development of budget/grant proposals
Knowledge of statistical computer programs for data analysis
Knowledge of computer programs for preparation of scientific presentations
