The Program Director plans, directs, leads and coordinates the development and implementation of programs and services consistent with the mission of LBMMC and MCH. The incumbent prepares strategic, financial, marketing and customer business plans for the Todd Cancer Institute. The incumbent supports management in achieving a high quality of service in an efficient and economic manner within assigned areas of responsibility. The Program Director provides leadership in forecasting future trends for oncology inpatient and outpatient services. The first service to be implemented will be a clinical nurse navigator program to improve the overall coordination of patient care, and to assist the physicians with symptom management. A Bachelor's in Nursing or other clinical discipline is required; a Master's in Nursing is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience in large, complex tertiary medical center with a focus in Adult Oncology is also required . An a dvanced practice RN is strongly preferred.
