The Senior Project Manager acts independently to provide general systems consulting, systems analysis, and overall leadership related to the acquisition and use of computing systems in assigned business areas. Applies knowledge of business and applications to identify and select optimal system solutions. Manages all phases of projects. Accountable for the success of system implementations, repairs, process improvements, and overall benefits realization. Functions as a key point of user contact and customer service for Information Services and is accountable for user satisfaction. Prepares analytical reports and makes recommendations to management. Ensures that the organization’s goals, philosophies, and objectives are optimally supported by information technology. Broad understanding of key areas of the healthcare business. Seven to ten years experience as a senior systems analyst, project manager or equivalent business experience. Seven to ten years experience as a senior systems analyst, project manager or equivalent business experience. Three to five years of significant and successful project management. Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, and/or licensed healthcare professional desirable.This position will be responsible for the build and maintenance of Epic applications Prelude,Resolute and Cadence for private practice MD offices. Candidate should be Epic certified and/or knowledgeable about physician practice operations and excellent commucation skills. Good understanding of professional billing recommended.
