Bachelor's Degree

BLS Certified

2 years of experience

Evaluates adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including assessing specific impairments relating to functional disability. Designs treatment plans based on information from the assessment and develops goals in collaboration with patient, family, and other team members.  Bachelor of Science degree in Therapeutic Recreation from an approved program required.  Eligibility for State or National Certification as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist required .  If exam eligible, must take and pass first available/offered examination.   2 years of experience in a rehabilitation setting preferred.  Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.  American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
