About the Opportunity
This position ensures qualified and licensed personnel to assist the registered physical or occupational therapist in the treatment of patients of all diagnoses. In this position, the Physical Therapy Assistant will actively participate in departmental program development and departmental education. The Physical Therapy Assistant must be licensed in California to provide treatment to ortho, neuro and general medical patients under the direction of a licensed physical therapist. A m inimum of 18 months experience is required. Successful completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program, with an AA degree and eligibility for Licensure in State of California is required . APTA/AOTA membership is recommended.
