Memorial Rehabilitation offers a full continuum of rehabilitation services in a cost-effective manner. Memorial Rehabilitation will serve as a leader by providing interdisciplinary rehabilitation activities necessary to assist individuals with disabilities regain the highest possible level of independence and self-esteem, and to maximize their social, educational and vocational potential. The Rehabilitation center at LBMMC offers many of the areas finest clinical specialists, making it one southern California's most respected Rehabilitation Centers.
About the Opportunity
Evaluates adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including assessing specific impairments relating to functional disability. Designs treatment plans based on information from the initial assessment and develops goals in collaboration with patient, family, and other team members. Performs age specific care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients based on the developed treatment plan. Demonstrates appropriate interaction with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. 1 to 5 years of experience is required. A Master's degree from an accredited college or university with specialization in Speech/Language Pathology is also required. A Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) issued by the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA), as well as current licensure in the State of California, are also required. CCS paneled or working to fulfill requirements is preferred. A current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
