This will also include teaching private group

classes. W ill assist in the Cardiac

Rehabilitation Department. T his will entail

helping the nursing staff to provide cardiac

rehabilitative care to the adult and geriatric

patient. Will be responsible for

supervising and motivating the adult and

geriatric patients; developing and updating

exercise and weight training prescriptions

while assuring patient safety. The employee

w ill assist nurses with patient monitoring, charting,

patient reports and outcomes. The employee

will also conduct educational sessions for

groups of clients t hat promote wellness

and healthy lifestyle habits.

B accalaureate degree in exercise physiology

or related field required min of 2 yrs exp

in a cardiac health fitness program required
